The Zephyra uses a built-in water reservoir and a fine mist system to actively cool the air it produces, so the space directly around your baby or pet feels noticeably cooler, not just breezier.

Yes. The Zephyra is designed for close-range, personal use. The mist it produces is extremely fine — not wet — so it doesn't dampen surfaces or create humidity. It runs quietly enough not to disturb light sleepers, and the cordless design means no trailing cables near the sleeping area. As with any appliance, we recommend placing it on a stable surface within reach but not directly inside the crib or crate

On the lowest speed setting, the Zephyra runs for a full night on a single charge. Higher speeds will reduce that runtime, so for overnight use we recommend charging it during the day and running it on the lowest or mid setting — which is more than enough to maintain a cool microclimate around the sleeping area.

Air conditioning cools the room — but not necessarily the spot. Cribs, pet crates, floor-level spaces, and areas near walls can be significantly warmer than the rest of the room, even with AC running. The Zephyra solves a different problem: it targets the exact space where your baby or pet actually spends their time, keeping that microclimate consistently cool even when the AC cycles off through the night.
